This is a textured painting using gel, glue and sand.  It is an abstract sunset on the Ocean.  Titled 'For Dawn'.
Unfortunately I do not have great lighting or camera.

This turned into 2 small trees.  Originally I started with a more modern / abstract tree, didn't like the look of the end result, so I fixed it up to this more textured look.

The Snowflake

These two are a set of modern Christmas deco.

Cute little snowman in the glistening snow.  Once again, not a great camera to show the sparkles in the snow.  This was a prize in a draw.

The Nativity - this was a gift.

This next one wasn't completely done when this picture was taken, but it was given as a gift to my parents of the house they lived in for 30+ years.  The stars were added later ala 'Evening' series style.

This one is called 'Latte', for the coffee lover in me!

For the boys I made this simple Hockey Player.

These next two are a set of dinosaur fossils  'Spinosaurus' and 'Trilobite'.

To the left is 'Tom' our family cat that is no longer with us.
Below is 'Coco' our family dog.

Keeping with t he 2 - 3 colour template, 'Audrey Hepburn' has been given as a gift.

'Arc de Triomphe' and the 'Empire State Building' were the last two of the 'Evening' series.  I was really happy to finish them and am thinking of doing another series with some more landmarks.  I really enjoy filling my house with them.

'Fall Mask'

This is a new venture... stumbled on these canvas faces and thought... why not?  I needed something to take the kids out trick or treating anyway!

'Fall'

Although this picture is a little dark, it shows the detail of the gold in this painting, which is actually very subtle in person.

'Big Ben'

Second in a series of evening paintings, 'Big Ben'.  I never thought much of the big clock until I toured London in the evening and it won my heart with it's beauty.  Like the 'Eiffel Tower', these paintings are 3' by 2 '.

'Eiffel Tower'

There is still no picture that does this painting justice.  I have always had a thing for the Eiffel Tower which inspired me to do this painting, using just 2 colours and some blown on glitter to make a beautiful evening sky.  It is also the first in a series of evening paintings.
